June 20 Duzzie Duffy Durby This one you don't want to miss. There are 158 Duffys and electric boats listed in the NHYC directory. All way too nice to miss this now annual event. If you don't own a Duffy, chances are your neighbor does. Last year this event was a HOOT (sorry, I am from Wisconsin). A relatively short (no pun intended) scavenger hunt in the harbor (using photos, we'll not be stealing property), followed by a no host dinner and more nonsense at the Club. Bill and Sharon (the cheat) Allen and Bill and Julie Cook are the cruise leaders. Please contact Sharon Allen 949-673-1589.

August 7-9 Catalina Family Weekend The Family Week has turned into the Family Weekend. Us old folks finally realized that those with children actually have to work from time to time. This week end has been scheduled to allow families to enjoy Moonstone with organized activities with the younger set in mind. Roger Riley (old guy), and Dave C. Clarke (young guy) are putting together a great weekend for children and grandchildren. Contact Roger at 949-723-0755 or Dave at 949-574-0707.

August 11-13 Extreme Seniors Weekend Please no letters or calls, we know that the 11th is a Tuesday and the 13 a Thursday, but when you get to be our age, does it really matter when the weekend is? If you or your spouse or significant other is not over sixty, this is not only not for you, you are not invited! Leave your kids at home, bring the seeing eye dogs and cats. Strollers are OK, wheel chairs are a push. Knowing the professional nature of this group, cocktails are when you want them as long as you want them. If this doesn't turn out to be a great time it's our own fault. Call Bobby Thompson 949-673-7970.
